ACCOUNTABILITY: Assist Troops within Service Unit Regarding Cookie Sale
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a member (18 years of age and older) of GSUSA and have cleared the volunteer screening process
- Must have been a volunteer with Girl Scouts for at least one year and have no outstanding debt with the council
- Understanding and acceptance of GSUSA and GSKWR policies, procedures and deadlines necessary to run a smooth product sale
- Time necessary to carry out primary tasks
- Accessibility or key sale dates
- Computer; access to internet, and ability to use online product management system
- Strong/frequent communication by phone and/or email
- Flexible and diplomatic, able to deal with unexpected circumstances
- Team player
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attend Service Unit Cookie Sale Manager Council Training.

Receive and distribute materials to Troop Managers in November.

Secure delivery location for Service Unit Initial Order in January if you are not in the NKY or Lexington SU areas. Ensure that all troops count the product they are receiving and sign delivery ticket.

Receive rewards and distribute to troops promptly from time of receiving them, estimated to be in April or May.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AS NEEDED:

Conduct training session for Troop Managers in November and encourage participation.

Be available to discuss the sale with Troop Managers, parents, and girls participating in the sale from December through April.

Help to arrange cookie booths in their Service Unit area for all troops. Advise and approve troop secured booths within Service Unit area.
